Who is he?
Dennis Hopper - actor and director who has starred in numerous films. Shot to fame in the cult 60's film classic "Easy Rider" in which he starred with Peter Fonda. More recently, he appeared alongside Keanu Reeves in Speed, and also appeared in the Costner flop Waterworld.

What did he do?
Alledgedly, Hopper caused a small traffic accident in Taos, New Mexico. He fled from the scene and neglected to inform Police.

Yes, with careless driving, caused an accident and didn't inform it, ran away from the accident scene, hiding from the police. He was bailed out 20 minutes after his arrest.
